Route incidents to email today; Slack and webhook destinations expand as integrations mature. Keep routing simple — one primary channel per severity.
Steps
Pick a primary inbox
Use a shared on-call or data-team address for critical freshness/dbt breaks.
Add Slack when available
Map critical → #data-alerts (or equivalent). Avoid paging every channel.
Verify with a test
Use
POST/api/alerts/testor the in-app control.
